Where Do I Begin?
There is SO MUCH going on right now.
This Saturday, November 28 I will play Massey Hall for the first time as part of the 29th Annual Women’s Blues Revue. If you can keep a secret, I’ll let you know that I’ve never actually been to Massey Hall before. (Shhh.) I am so honoured to be walking into that building for the first time and being able to share that legendary stage with such talented women.
Afterward, I’ll have a few days off before I head to CBC Toronto’s Glenn Gould Studio to participate in CBC’s Sounds of the Season on Friday, December 4. I’ll be doing two songs there. The event is free, and is also a food drive. So make sure to bring some non-perishable goods.
I’m also elated to announce that I will be playing another show with Boris Brott’s National Academy Orchestra at McMaster University’s LIVELab on Saturday, December 5. We will be recording songs from Every Time My Mind Runs Wild complete with audience. If you’re in the room, you’ll be a part of my next album!
On Thursday, December 10 I’ll be participating in the Third Annual Stompin Tom Tribute at the Horseshoe Tavern (alongside Dave Bidini, Doug Paisley, Brendan Canning, Selina Martin, Kevin Hearn and others, including house band The Rheostatics) before my band heads to Owen Sound to perform with our pal Donovan Woods on Saturday, December 12.
Finally, I will be appearing at the Horseshoe again with the Skydiggers for two nights (December 18 & December 19) playing a huge and fun rock band set. So exciting! Yes, I am renting an apartment in Toronto. JUST KIDDING.
Thanks for reading (and send coffee).
